I am searching for information about a Hannah Stewart, Sophrona Stewart (spelled Stuard on the 1860 census in Buchanan Co. MO. They are living with Ray and Mary Pate. Leroy Pate and Mary Stewart were married in Buchanan Co., in 1853. They list Tennessee as their birthplace. Sophrona lists Missouri as birthplace. Apparently Sophrona was adopted by Leroy as after 1860 she is never listed as Stewart again only Pate or her married name Sophronia Keene (Wife of Columbus Keene.)
