Seeking clarification of the connection between Joseph Lundy and his cousin, Louis Campbell. Obit of Mary Lydia Campbell Flewelling states, "Her father, Louis Campbell.....was commander of the Brigade during the Battle of Lundy's Lane, fought on the farm of his cousin, Joseph Lundy." Louis Campbell was from Warren/Sussex County, NJ. His wife, Jemima Roy, from a adjacent PA county, and the Lundy family originated in Bucks County, PA before loyalist leanings and their Quaker beliefs forced them to 'Upper Canada' in the 1780's. I hope to find Louis Campbell's family and ancestors and to identify how he is "cousined" with Joseph Lundy. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
