Hello, I am researching James Valentine Pierce and his parents. I have information that he was born on Feb 12th 1812 in Stokes, County N.C. to William Pierce and Polly Harden. I would like to know if James had any siblings and where did his parents come from. He migrated from North Carolina to Iowa and then on to Oregon where he lived out the rest of his life.
