My mother's family came from the region around Odessa. The town was called Bisnovetz, Visnovetz, or something like that. The family names are Weinberg and Niebrich. They emigrated to the US and settled in the Boston area. My grandfather's name was Niebrich but he took my grandmother's name of Weinberg as no one could spell his. He was David, she Sarah. Her parents were Beryl and Chava. She had brothers, Benjamin, Sam and Emmanuel and sisters Jennie & Gittel. More brothers and sisters remained in Europe.
