I would like to know more about DALLAS HAMILTON of YEADON-Philadelphia,PA and his descendants. What I know of him is that he lived in the Philadelphia area circa 1940-1962. Dallas Hamilton would have a second cousin to my father. Most of the information I have on Dallas Hamilton was gleaned from a couple of obituaries: Parents: Eugene Hamilton and Martha Page of Oxford, MD. Martha Page Hamilton (died in Yeadon, PA May 10, 1958 and returned to Oxford Cemetery, MD for burial). Born: October 16, 1901 in Oxford, MD Married to Evelyn ???(maiden surname unknown) One known child, son, Eugene Hamilton. Was a practicing doctor in Yeadon, PA. Dallas had four siblings...3 elder brothers: Leroy (ROY) Hamilton of Yeadon, PA Raymond Hamilton of Philadelphia, PA Jennings Hamilton of Yeadon, PA (deceased August 6, 1962 in Yeadon, PA returned for burial in Oxford Cemetery, MD). 1 younger sister: Elizabeth...Mrs. Samuel Crothers of Springfield, PA (residence in 1962). DALLAS HAMILTON died October 10, 1962 in Yeadon,PA...one week shy of his 62nd birthday. Returned for burial in Oxford Cemetery, MD. Most likely with or near his parents Eugene and Martha. Dallas would be a cousin to the sons of John C. Hamilton: William Andrew, Charles W. and Norris F. Hamilton. John C. Hamilton was brother to Eugene, Dallas's father. In Norris F. Hamilton's obit of 1940...Norris was visiting with cousin DALLAS HAMILTON in Philadelphia, when Norris fell ill and died of pneumonia following an asthma attack. Norris F. Hamilton was returned for burial with his parents John C. Hamilton/Susanna Page in Oxford Cemetery, MD. ***This Hamilton branch is buried separate and apart from Eugene/Martha and Dallas.
