Query Text: |
Trying to locate my immigrant ancestors, Andreas aka Andrew Brenner and wife Sophia aka Sophie (Neukomm) Brenner. Found them in 1860, 1870 and 1880 Brooklyn censuses. They came from Baden, Germany, but I have not been able to identify their town in Baden, and have not been able to find them on any passenger list which might identify their town of origin. Death certificates state only Baden. US National Archives cannot find any naturalization papers. Census says they arrived in 1858. Is there an archives in baden that might have marriage index or census index to help identify town in Baden? | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
