Some of their sons settled in Belton, Anderson County, SC and Pendleton Dist, SC. Jesse Brown married about 1822 to My g-g-grandmother Mary Powell (Mrs. Mary Brown) born about 1803 NC; died Aug 12 1883 Everette Spgs, Floyd County, GA at the home of her daughter Sarah Brown known as Sallie Ann Rosa Bates.
