I am looking for any information on Johannes Gerber (Garber) who came to america from Steffisburg, Bern, switzerland arouund 1729.His son or grandson samuel garber (b. 1756-1812) married elizabeth miller (b.1760 frederick MD, died Augusta VA). the garbers settled in shenandoah Va, rockingham Co. Samuel was a Dunker? Minister. Much Info needed! Thank You! Samuel and Elizabeth son Michael Garber(b.1790-1846) married Catherine Erbaugh (1790-1846) in 1803 VA.
