I am researching Eliza Sage, born Clutton, Somerset circa 1829. Her parents were Samuel Sage, born 1801 Clutton, Somerset and Charlotte, also born Clutton. Charlotte remarried after the death of Samuel, around 1841 to a Mr. Carter. Charlotte is shown as a widow on the 1881 census in Paulton, Somerset aged 85 years. Eliza's siblings were Sarah born abt. 1820, Charles born abt. 1823, Samuel born abt. 1827 and Fanny/Frances born abt. 1839. Eliza married George Jones in Aberyschan, Monmouthshire, South Wales, had 3 children that I know of. One of the children was Samuel Jones born Ebbw Vale 1853. The family later moved to Wigan, Lancashire, England. Any help with the Sage family in Clutton, Somerset would be appreciated. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
