Seeking info on greatgrandparents MARCUS NEWTON HAMILTON and wife NANCY BELLE STAGNER HAMILTON. Marcus was born 5/24/1855 in KY, Nancy was born in 1852 in Missouri. The couple were married on 5/24/1879, resided in Dawn, Breckenridge, Caldwell County, Missouri and had at least two children: Joseph Elmer Hamilton (1883??) and Helena (Lena) Hamilton Moore Toombs(1880). They raised their grandson Allen Moore when his mother, Lena remarried. Marcus died 5/1/1918. Marcus Hamilton's parents were from Virginia, Nancy Belle Stagner's parents from Kentucky and Iowa.I believe they lived in Kansas City Kansas in their later years. I would like to find their parents' names.
