Searching for a marriage record of one Jonathan Burleson (Burlison) ca. before 1790. I do not know the spouse name. Some researchers say it was Mary Blackman but no one has doucmentation to support this fact nor do they know anything else about her. Family lived in the Washington/Sullivan/Greene Co. area during the 1780's. I found this Jonathan & family 1790 in Rutherford county. He is married and has a couple of children. Will of Jonathan's father,Aaron,dated 27 May 1782 Washington Co. NC? TN? Family migrates to KY after death of their mother. I am trying to prove this Jonathan is the father to Jonathan #2 that married Rebecca Ellen McClure 1811 in Warren Co. KY.
