Am looking for the descendants of Page Pendleton Rodgers (Rogers), son of Abner Leroy Rodgers and brother of Preston Walker Rodgers. Page was born 1853 in Mississippi. His mother, Ann Lewis Sutton Rodgers, died four months after his birth and his father remarried. I think Page married Carrie C. James in Grenada County, MS, in 1883. Several of his children moved to Texas and Arkansas. His children were Ruby Anne Rodgers (m.Robert Morris); Zona (m.Charlie Marter); Velma Bennie (m. Jim Vance); Eugene (m. Cubby Gordon; Blanch (m.Charlie Kent); Grady (born deaf); LeRoy (called Roy); Mag (m. Lonzo Pennington and both of them were deaf). I would love to hear from any descendants of any of the above. My great great grandfather was P.W. Rodgers, Page Pendleton Rodgers' only full sibling and he was abt. 3 when their mother died. Am particularly interested in learning more about Abner Leroy Rodgers, Page's father. Am willing to share any family information that I have. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
