I'm looking for information on my great grandmother's parents: Felix Simons b. Ind 1853 or 1869 and Sarah (maiden name unknown) b. Tennessee in 1852. My great grandmother was Pearl(ie) Simons, Hayes, Matthews and she was born an only child in 1885 and died 1976. She was born in Logan Cty, Ark and lived her entire life in Haskell County. She is buried at Keota Cemetery. I found one reference to the family in the 1900 census for indian territory, choctaw nation. She married William Hayes b. 1885 in 1905 and both listed their residence as Blaine Bottom at that time. Her last husband was Riley Matthews. The last census entry I found on her was in 1930 showing her as head of household with one son Phillip and one daughter Alice. She lived next door at the time to her son in law Rathie Edward Lowe b. 1899 and her daughter Delia Hayes Lowe b. 1907. Riley Matthews is also on the same census and page as previous household to Rathie Lowe. Any help would be much appreciated. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
