Help! I am looking for info on the HILL family, who were slaves prior to 1870 in St. Charles parish --Ward 5...in particular Robert (born 1821? in Virginia) and Charlotte (born 1834 N.Carolina) the family is still in the same area to this day but we are looking for info regarding the probate records of whoever owned Robert and Charlotte so we can go from there...thanks
