I am trying to locate relatives of the Allen Speir family of Allegany Co., Maryland, especially in the areas of Lonaconing/George's Creek. Allen was killed in a mining accident in 1904. He was married to Louisa Broadbeck(1) and Kathryn Makepeace(2).Children born of these marriages were Jane,(1881), Hugh (1884), Carrie (1886), Allen, Jr. (1888), George (1889),Andrew (1899), and Russell.
