HUGH STIRRUP AND ANN GIBSON LANCASHIRE. Looking for information on Ann GIBSON who married Hugh STIRRUP in St Mary's Lancaster in 1781. They had at least two daughters: Sarah born 1781 and Ann born London, 1 May 1784. Ann married Robert ROSE at St Paul's Covent Garden in London on 29 August 1801. Ann eventually went to Australia in 1821 with her second husband Joseph Pennington. After Joseph died she married in 1831 James HODSON. Ann had 3 daughters one unknown and Sarah ROSE and Julia PENNINGTON. Sarah married George Augustus MIDDLETON and had 13 children. | |||||||||||||||||||||
