Joseph N DuBois was a councilman and businessman in Kansas City Missouri when his first wife, Mary E. (Askew) DuBois died in 1868. I have been told that Joseph was in business with his good fried, and brother-in-law Frank Askew. I need to know what kind of business it was and if there is a record of the name for the middle initial N for Joseph. I have seen some postings that a Joseph N DuBois was soliciting buffalo hides.
