Here is a photo of James Madden. He married Isabella McGinnis at Dalbeth Cottage in Scotland in 1858. James was from Ireland , but Im not sure where. As mentioned previously, his parents were Charles Madden (crofter) and Rose Eccles. James left Ireland and went to Scotland about 1850. He and Isabella had about ten kids according to census returns. He was a Roman Catholic and a coal miner in Scotland. Im guessing by this photo he was about 35-40 at the time it was taken. Thankyou.
