My mother told me that we have Metis blood and I'm trying to trace it and I don't know how to go about it. I am looking for info about my dad's mother's family. My dad was Gerry Boutet and his mother was Marie Anne Chouinard. Her father was Donat and her mother was Josephine Douglas. This is all I know. Can anyone help? Thanks
