Searching for my great aunt Mary Jane ARTHURS, born 1881 Barrow in Furness, England. She married Albert HARDIE in 1905 in Barrow, then emigrated to Ellis Island from Liverpool in 1923 (on her own)On arrival she went to stay with a Mrs Chas Burgess in Titusville PA. She may have married, or taken the name of, Patrick ARTHURS, who emigrated to Ellis Island in 1923. She is reputed to have given birth to a son in the US, name unknown, who also has the name ARTHURS. Mary died in 1971, last known address 42 West Street, Middle Island, New York. During the later years of her life she shared a house with a Henry Wolf. Are you related to any of the above?
