I have just begun researching the Lemke family name for my boyfriend. His ancestors are from Germany and though we have very, very little to begin with(no names other than grandparents), we have learned that he may be the decendant of a german officer, perhaps a general. However I keep coming across the name Wilhelm Lemke, born Sept 27 1920 in Arnswalde, Neumark,Alemanha. Can anyone tell me anymore about him. I can find little in the english language. Any children?
