Andrew J. ALBERT, b. 1831, Northhampton, PA - was a private in Co. K, 153rd PA Vol. commanded by Capt. Isaac Buzzard. Enrolled on 22 Sep 1862 at Mt. Pleasant, PA & mustered in 11 Oct 1862 at Harrisburg, PA. Killed by "a shot to the temple" on 1 Jul 1863 at Gettysburg, PA - the 1st day of fighting at Gettysburg. Was married to Matilda REESOR.
