Hello, I am trying to find the name of the father of Lieutenant Thomas Thornley of Sligo and Ballyshannon, who lived circa 1790-1880. He was the grandfather of Bram Stoker, author of Dracula. The Thornleys came from Derbyshire/ Cheshire to Ireland circa 1780 etc. A number of them settled in Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal and then moved to Rathmines, Dublin. Various family names connected to the Thornleys were Dixon, Blake, Stoker and Le Fanu.
