Query Text: |
Seeking connection between Virginia LaFayette (Davis) GRAY (1834ME-1886AR), Fannie Green (Borland) MOORES (1847AR-1879TN) with the LEA & COMPTON families of Princeton, Dallas County, AR during the 1860's. Their art and writing is outstanding. Fannie's poem The Dead Confederacy http://members.cox.net/confed/poetry/poem99.html, and Mrs LEA's painting (possibly of Virginia, from Virginia's g,g,granddaughter's archives) below, along with pictures of young and older Virginia GRAY. Nov 17 1863 entry in published diary of Virginia Davis GRAY by AHQ in 1983 makes it very clear of a connection. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
