Looking for information about Margaret and Thomas Degnan from Ireland,settled in Cumberland,Maryland around 1840.Their daughter Margaret married John Gorman,a boatman on the canal.He was born in Dublin,Ireland.Their daughter Mary married Joseph Kight.They were friends with the Birmingham and Duggan families of Cumberland,all members of St Patrick church.
