Looking for Fricke family relatives with roots in lage, Lippe, Germany. William S.H. Fricke(1833-1913) and Eliza Meier(1835-1884) lived in Brooklyn 1860s on 5th Ave. (12th-14th Sts) near Green Wood Cemetery...arrived 1860...first known child born in Brooklyn in 1864(Mena, August, Willliam survived to 1880 census). Wm. owned a shoe store and married Annette around 1888 after Eliza died, and had two more sons(Freddie; Walter survived). August Fricke married Annie Hoff (family from Julich, Westphalia.
