Looking for info on family of LEONARD ANTONIO DERUNGS, born in Dunedin 1863 and married to JANE HAMPTON, in Christchurch, New Zealand, 1892. Their children were Ethel May (1892), Ernest James (1893), Leonard Reginald (1896-1916 -died at the Somme) & Lucy Winifred(1900). Leonard's Dad was John/Giovanni Derungs from Grisons, Switzerland ( a boarding house keeper) and his Mum was Jessie (nee BRASH, daughter of William & Margaret, Livingstone, Scotland). Leonard died in Christchurch, NZ in 1943.Would like to find out when his parents came to NZ from Melbourne, probably 1862/63 as well as sibling info. | |||||||||||||||||||||
