??Info: COUNTESS UNGER,NANCY SCHUTZE,HELENA HESSENAUER, STRAITS SETTLEMENT 1900s-1942 my grandmother Helena Hessenauer Beeman born in Penang and went to America to attend Ohio Wesylan Univ. Her mother, Nancy Schutze had been married to Hessenauer in Straits Settlement. She became a Countess after partying around the globe with Edward VII. had a son called Reginald Hamilton. Was friends with Queen Victoria, & She married a man of royalty, last name Unger, perhaps from Switzerland? She died on ship escaping Singapore when the Japanese invaded...and had a heart attack. Her son Reginald was marched to near death. This is the story I have heard. How can I learn about them and get their records or geneology for/from Singapore during this time period approx 1900-1942? Any helpfulness is greatly appreciated. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
