Searching for an Elizabeth Akins who married a Dennis Mullins (Mullane, Mullin, Mullen....spelling variations). Per my greataunt, Catherine Mullins md. William Kingzett in Cleveland, OH about 1881. Both listed born 1850/1. Catherine born in Ontario Canada (probably Norwood, Peterborough, Ontario). No children born to this union that I know of. Catherine's death record lists her parents as: father: Dennis Mullins mother: Elizabeth Akins. Out of 13 siblings, she is the only one with a mother listed, all others say don't know. I would assume AKINS would have resided in Norwood, Peterborough, Ontario near the MULLINS farm(s). Dennis Mullins would be my greatgreat grandfather, born in Ireland about 1816 and the youngest of 6, coming to Ontario with Peter Robinson settlers in 1825 for free land. 1851 and 1861 canadian census list his wife in both cases as ANNE....which maybe he had more than one wife. He came to USA after 1864 and by 1870 Dennis shows up in Corry, Erie, PA with no wife listed and a few children. HELP!!! Ginny
