I am seraching for my son, he was not (to my knowledge) adopted out. I have reason to believe his maternal grandmother raised him. I was contacted by CPS in late 70's out of San Antonio, Texas asking if I would take him, when I called them back to let them know yes I would be glad to, they told me the grandmother took him, they would not give me any other information. I have not seen him since he was a few weeks old. His mother and I were unmarried and heavy into drugs at that time. Her name was Audrey Tassin and I believe she named my son Richard Wayne Tassin, my surname is Hamilton but I believe she used her name. He was born in Houston, Texas. I have no other living issue,and have been drug free for 20 years. I would like to meet him and be a part of his life and if that is not possible I totally understand but, would like to make sure he receives my assets when the time comes.
