I have a gap in my family history - any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. I have many documents,etc. but for some reason there is nothing listed other than "no issue"! From the beginning, I am Thayer Cadmus Smith, the son of Loughton Smith,Jr,grandson of Loughton Smith Sr.,greatgrandson of Arthur Loughton Junius Smith and Florence Thayer Wood (dtr of Wm Wood & Elizabeth Thayer May),born 1893. Elizabeth was the dtr of Charles P.Thayer. Arthur was the son of William Wragg Smith b.1808 d,1875, m. Mary Hedley. This is where everything stops- William Wragg Smith & Mary Hedley are listed with no issue! I have William Wragg Smith,the son of William Loughton Smith & Charlotte Wragg all the way back to Benjamin Smith who married Ann Loughton & Mary Wragg.
