Hi, I am looking for info on my family tree. I don't know if you could help... My Great-Grandma was born Mary FINNIE in 1885 or 1886 Camberslang, LANNARK, Scotland, she had a brother that we know of Alexander & maybe had another one by the name of Martin. Her father had migrated from Ireland before she was born... This is all we know about Him though. Mary Married a man called James BARCLAY (1886-1962) on 22/2/1908 in Blantyre, LANNARK Scotland. They had 5 children 3 (John b.1909, Masie b.1911 & Martin(who died of diptheria -shortly after the family Migrated to Townsville, QLD Australia) They migrated between 1909 & 1917 another child (Nancey b.1917) was born in townsville & my Grandfather Henry Alexander BARCLAY was born in Cairns, Queensland (QLD), Australia, in 1919. Mary was also a nurse matron at the Maternity Herberton Hospital. Her religion was Catholic She died in 1955, Brisbane, QLD Australia & Buried in Cairns. This Is all I know about her. Could you please ask other familiy members to see if any of this information sounds a little familar to them. I'd be very grateful.
