PARKER | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
Query Text: |
We are looking for the family of John Parker, b. bet. 1810-1820 in North Carolina. According to the 1840 Census in Washington Co., GA. he had one boy under age 5 and 2 little girls under age 5. His wife was born about the same time, 1810-1820. They probably married in North Carolina and moved to GA. Just above John's name on the 1840 census is the name of Jonathan Parker whom I believe is his father. He was born about 1795-1810, probably in NC. On the 1850 Census, Jonathan Parker is listed as being 55 years old (b. 1795.) He is a Planter with real estate value of $400. It says he was born in GA, but we believe, NC. His wife is Ann, age 55, born in GA; Winafred, age 14, born in GA. On the 1860 census, they have disappeared. This has been a 20 year brick wall. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
