JAMES CAVANA(U)GH born in Ireland May 1828;father James Cavanaugh, mother unknown. Immigrated to Wayne County, Pennsylvania,U.S. ca. 1846-1847. Married Mary (nee Cavanagh) in Honesdale, Wayne County, Pennsylvania prior to 1860. Trying to verify MAIDEN NAME of MARY CAVANAGH. They had 12 children. James died June 20, 1913; wife Mary in May 1904. Mary's sister Margaret and brother Daniel Cavanaugh lived in N.Y. at time of her death. Children of Mary and James: Daniel and Mary never married; died in Honesdale.Daughter Nellie married Lawrence Mc Guiness and lived in Honesdale. Son, Michael lived and died in Middletown, N.Y. Son James lived in Paterson, N.J. in 1915. Elizabeth and Kate married Mulhern brothers and lived in Wilkes Barre, PA. Any help would be appreciated. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
