Their children are: Basil(Bazel), b abt 1830, m Elizabeth Steeples, Sarah, b 23 Feb 1831, m Wesley Cook 1850, Mary E., b abt 1832, m Frederick Foster, 2) Samuel Savage, Elias, b abt 1835, m Rebecca Montgomery or Dunn, Isabell, b abt 2837, Juliana, b abt 1838, Nancy, b abt 1841, Jnae b abt 1843 and Parmelia b abt 1844. Basil is my direct ancestor. Basil and Elizabeth Rogers had the following childre: Wesley, b abt 1853, Sarah Jane, b abt 1856, m William Lundy, Mary Ellen, b Oct 1859, m John W Lundy, Lavinia, b 1860, m John Crooke Scott 11 Jun 1882, John, b 4 Apr 1868 in MO. John spelled his name as RODGERS. As far as I know all the children for Matthew and Basil were born in IN, except for John, son of Basil. John is my grandfather. He married Mollie McAhron in Elgin, Jackson Co., AR 1899. I have more information to share on this line.
