Just getting started at this. My father's name is Jerome B. Gipson (1917-1989), his father's name was John, mother's name was Florence. They resided in southern Illinois but originally I believe they migrated from Kentucky???. I'm sorry I can't provide a lot of information. I know my father had an Aunt Peg and cousins with the surname "Ward". I knew two of my father's brothers, Winiferd and Doyle---there were others--nine or ten kids in all. Florence's maiden name was "Shackley or Shackly" again, not much I know. I would like to find out anything I can. Both parents are deceased and wish I would have listened to the stories a little closer. Just have a need to know where I came from. My mother's name was Ada Mina Reed (1925-2000). Her parents were Clarence and Mina (Nina??)Her mother's maiden name was "O'Reilly"---ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
