I am researching the surnames RAMPITSCH and RAMBITZ. Both names were used by my paternal side of the family. Ludwig Rampitsch emigrated in 1904 and settled in Decatur, IL. His wife's name was Maria. They had at least one son, Harry Joseph born June 27, 1947. Harry served in the Navy in WWII in Philadelphia and also worked in Cincinnati, OH, at NASA in Iowa and as an elevator inspector for Houston, TX. Any info will be greatly appreciated.
