Query Text:

I have been searching my great grandfather since 1968. George Washington Cozean. Tradition says he lived around Toronto, where he worked at a grist mill or grain mill. He turns up in Arkansaas in the 1830s, about 1835/6. The traditional story is that he was scuffling at a mill with another man, who accidently fell to his death. Thus, he left Toronto area. Is this story true? Is there any record of this? Does anyone know about this? Did he have relatives around Toronto? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
