We have traced my gggrandpa to Licking Mo. in the 1850 census. Can't find the family anywhere in the 1860 census. Showed back up in the 1870 census, gggrandma with kids, gggrandpa gone. Found out he enlisted in the Civil War with the 8th Mo. infantry, Co. F. But enlisted at Fulton Co. Ark. No record of what happened to him. Last known record was in 1863, then he vanished. Also in the 1850 census in Licking Mo. was gggrandpa's father and mother, we think. Anyway, gggrandpa's name was Henry S. Elliett(Elliott) mispelled a lot. Wife was Mary.
