Looking for Frederick Hayes b.abt 1889/90 My Great grandfather was Frederick William Crosby Hayes b. 1/26/1859 in Johnstown N.Y. d. 11/1/1898 Downers Grove IL. at the age of 39 He was a Lawyer in Chicago - last firm of "Mann Hayes and Miller " and married to Lucy Ella Leach b. 8/15/1860 in Manchester Ma. d. 12/12/1921 in Los Angeles Ca. at 61. 1st child was born Frederick Leach Hayes around 1889 ,1890 who at the death of his father in 1898 his name was changed to Frederick William Crosby Hayes Jr. 2nd child Lucy Hanson Hayes (my grandmother) b.12/19/1891 in Chicago , IL d. 6/12/1986 @ 91 in Acton Ma. Fred's grandparent s were Richard Boyd Hayes 7/12/1833 Seapatrick , County down Ireland and grandmother Mary Elisabeth Nellis b. 10/22/1838 in Ephratah ,N.Y. her second husband John H. Rood . Frederick Leach Hayes /Frederick William Crosby Hayes Jr. had a falling out with his family in about 1926 when the rest of his family moved to Manchester Ma. by The Sea at that time it was thought he moved to Florida or N.Y. ?
