I would like to find out more info about my Morris and Thomas heritage which began in Wales. My forebears Maria Thomas and Hugh Morris married in Wales 1892. Maria's mother was Elizabeth Thomas and her father was John Thomas. Maria Died in 1938 and her husband Hugh died in 1948. Maria's sister was Sally. Her brothers were Jack and Tom. Maria had a child out of wedlock before she married. This child was Jack Thomas. Jack Thomas was brought up by Maria's mother Elizabeth Thomas. Later on Maria's son Jack had a son called Bernie Thomas who is now deceased. Bernie had a son called Brian Thomas. This part of the family settled in Canada. Hugh Morris's Father was Edward Morris and his mother was Maria Jones.Hugh's sister was Ginny. He had Ten Brothers and every brother had a sister! The Brothers names were: Pryce: he had a son called Tom who had a son called Peter Tom Bill Maurice Edward Edwin (Uncle Edwin on the hill) John ? ? ? | |||||||||||||||||||||
