Looking for long lost cousins...or maybe I'm the one that is long lost. My Grandfather, Alexander Hamilton, was born in Elwood Illinois in 1891. His father's name was James Alex Hamilton and he married Johanne Hansen. James Alex came from Canada orginally. He was born in Woodstock, Ontario to James and Rebecca (Freborn) Hamilton. He was the second child of eight, William, Robinson, Jane E.(Hall), Margaret (Johnson), Bessie (Forsythe), Mary Ann (Kelly)and Ella R. Hamilton. My Grandfather, Alexander, served aboard the USS Oregon. He died in an Army hospital in Portland Oregon on November 5, 1941. He had married Linda Cameron (Camerer). They had 6 children, Robert (Bob), William (Bill), Fay Alexander (Bud), Peggy, Stella, and Roger (Butch). If I belong to your family tree ... would you consider contacting me, please.
