Searching for ancestry of mother's parents. Alexander Keil (b. 3/19/1890, d. 4/19/1960)(Keil spelling changed to Kiel somewhere between the years of 1915 and 1919) and Anna Catherine Kiel (nee Herrmann, changed to Herman), both born in Russia. Alexander's citizenship papers in 1931 state race to be German, former nationality Russian. Alexander and Anna moved from the Belarus area in Russia to Berrien County, Michigan. It was there Anna bore ten children, beginning in 1915 with Molly being the eldest. A son named John Henry born in 1919, died at age 22 in 1942 at Willaims Field in Chandler, AZ, when his parachute failed to open. Other children were Alex Jr., Annie, Elisabeth, Esther, Marie, Edward, Harry, and William. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
