My great-great-great-great-great grandmother was Jane McCracken b. Ireland between 1715-1735 M. Thomas Hamilton, she d. 1760-1824 in America, probably North Carolina. Thomas Hamilton b. 1720-Ireland m. 1737-1760 d.1760-1811. I know there is a large range in dates here, but these were what was given me by a relative. Thomas Hamilton and Jane McCracken were parents of James Hamilton b. 6 June 1757 in North Carolina he m.Feb.7, 1782, d. April 27, 1831 in Carroll Co, Tennessee. Married Jane Gwin b. 2 Feb. 1762 in North Carolina, d. 8 Sept. 1843 in Carroll Co, Tennessee. Need Irish parents of Jame McCracken & husband Thomas Hamilton if possible and list of their other children. When did they marry exactly and where did they both die.
