I am looking for information in regards to the Joyce, Mouton, Broussard and Trahan families. Mouton and Broussard side: I can trace my lineage back as far to John Baptise Mouton, born April 10 (don't know the year)whom married Alezima Broussard; They produced Edward Mouton who married Acura "Cora" Trahan. They together had Alezima "Alexa Mae", Ann and Cecilia Mouton. Alexa Mae married Nemrod Joyce. Alexa Mae is my maternal grandmother. The Joyce side: On this side, I can trace my family back to Malcolm Joyce, whom had Nemrod Joyce, who in turn had another Nemrod Joyce, his namesake who was born January 31, 1919 in Mississippi. The second Nemrod Joyce married Alexa Mae Mouton, and he is my maternal grandfather. The families would have been in the Lousiana and Mississippi areas. I know some Joyce's branched out to Chicago, IL. Some Mouton's have gone to Texas and New York. There are a lot of Joyce's and Mouton's in the Los Angeles area; which is where I am.
