Rousselle/Russell Looking for any info on these Rousselle`s or Russell`s I have 4 baptisms and last name on them is spelled Rousselle robert Rousselle baptized january,5th,1857 born 7 months before,baptized in Petit-Rocher N.B. by Jos.Pelletier,ptre God parents were pierre Pelletier and luce Hache,has parents john Rousselle & elizabeth Rousselle elisabeth Rousselle baptized same place on 25th july,1830 by Naud,pretre godparents were frederick Cormier and antoinette Cormier,has parents as john Rousselle and elizabeth Murray marguerite Rousselle baptized sept,22,1832 same place born june,25,1832 baptized by McHarron,ptre godparents were nazaire Cormier & emilie Doucet,has parents as john Rousselle & elizabeth Murray henriette Rousselle baptized same place on june,15th,1854 by Dumphy,ptre godparents were elie Godin & marie Doucet,has parents as john Rousselle & elizabeth Murray. the robert Rousselle above is my g grandfather he was born in Belledune New Brunswick Canada baptized in Petit-Rocher New Brunswick Canada,he at some point lived in or around Duluth MN he had a son named robert Russell jr born july,4,1885 in Duluth MN he also had a daughter born in u.s.a. in 1887 the mothers name of these 2 children was emma Curo...We have no idea if emma Curo and robert Rousselle or Russell were ever married,we do know that the father robert brought his 2 todlers back to his hometown of Belledune N.B. and his older sister elizabeth raised them...And we know that robert Rousselle or Russell married martha miriam Matthews in 1896 in Belledune N.B. ,so am wondering what happen to emma Curo were her and robert married did she die? for robert to marrie in 1896 either emma had died or they were never married or they had a divorce..we do know that emma Curo was some type of a show girl. anyone with any info please email me john Rousselle above born,aug,3,1803 New Carile Bonaventure Quebec,is son of john Russell & marie josepthe Bergeron,and this john Russell is supposed to be a Lord john Russell,but I have not found proof of this as of yet...
