I am searching for my ancestors that were named Perrin/Perry who resided in WIlkes County, Washington, Georgia. My Great Grandfather was named Charlie Perrin and he was married to Nora Slaton Perrin. I am looking to talk to someone who can give me some information as to why the name changed and what part of South Carolina Charlie's family came from. According to my records, Charlie's parents were Shepard and Anne Perrin. I also know that Wash Colley was the informant who signed the death certificate for Charlie Perrin.
