My father was adopted in Iowa and had the birth name of Galen Mercer. (Born September 10, 1945) I have been told it was through Lutheran Family Services and was arraigned by a private Dr. The father supposedly never knew about him. The adopted family is named Sears. He was also the youngest person to ever fly in an airplane when they brought him to MN after the adoption. | |||||||||||||||||||||
