Searching the last name: Bendross?Bendroff. Found some in the 1870 and 1880 and 1900 census in Georgia(Early County). These were my gggrandmothers family, that I have found out recently. Have found some Bendross families in Florida and we are trying to work out the family connections since all they know is that their father came from Alabama, but have found a greatgrandfather that was in Early County in the 1870's. If anyone has a connection I would appreciate if you would get in touch with me as I am trying to get the family tree together for the family reunion in August. Some of the branches on the family tree are: Hilliard,Howell,Ford,Hunter,Spivey,McIver,Waters,Brown,Dixon,Hicks,Daniel,Donalson,Battles,Mills,Holmes,Perry,Mitchell. All of these are family lineage just to name a few and they came out of Georgia and spread to all points of the world. They were some of the original names of slaves on the Shackelford Plantation"The Pines". The Bendross name seems to of gotten lost in times and am trying to bring all links together and to strengthen this line. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
