I need to find out about my Great Great great Grand Mother.... All I know is that she was the first midwife on the Witwatersrand (Johannesburg). I think her names could be Charlotte ?? Katherina ??. Her daughters name was Katherina Charlotte married first name unknown Baldwin (Surname)he died some time +- 1918. She had six children; Iris married a(Zurcher); Ada married a(Cairns); Ivy married a(Vivian); Eileen married a (Priddle); Jessica married a (Warrington)her godmother was Jessie McPherson; John Edward Baldwin he had a son Manny Baldwin. She then she married August Frederick William Lance(He was her 2nd cousin)He was a printer at the Star newspaper also a Marathon walker. Lived in Transvaal (Johannesburg). She died in 1961 at the age of 83 August Lance died 7 December 1959. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
